Supplementary SNAP Assistance Application

Applications are open! If your food assistance has been suspended, please apply. Native Movement seeks to provide single one-time grants of $500-$800 per qualifying household impacted by the suspension of SNAP funds. Funds will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis until the funding has been exhausted. *Priority will be given to rural households.

Application review will occur every Thursday of this month. Check requests will be made the following Monday. The first batch of applications will be reviewed Thursday, November 13th. Check requests will be made on Monday, November 17. Applications will be accepted until funds are exhausted.

Application Requirements

  • Must be Alaska Native

  • Over 18

  • Impacted by the hold on SNAP Benefits
